What is Plasma?
Plasma is superheated matter - so hot that the electrons are ripped away from atoms forming an ionized gas. Plasma is often called "the fourth state of matter" along with solid, liquid and gas, which consists of ions and electrons. It is an ionized gas with electrical energy, and space plasma releases electrical energy that instantly increases the temperature of the skin tissue to 1000 degrees Celsius.

When the thermal energy from the plasma device reaches approximately 1mm from the skin, it mixes with oxygen and nitrogen in the atmosphere and creates a plasma arc, which vaporizes upon contacting with the skin. This causes an immediate contraction of the skin tissue at the surface and creates a temporary "thermal disruption" within the dermis, effectively opening the skin to receive active ingredients to stimulate the body's own healing processes and promote the production of collagen and elastin.
